Man Puts Girlfriend’s Toddler Son In Dryer,And Turns It On

BANGOR, Maine (AP) — A man is accused of putting a 2-year-old Maine toddler in a clothes dryer and turning it on, burning the boy.reports says that police say the boy’s mother left him with her boyfriend, Adam Morton, while she went to work. According to court documents, the Bangor boy suffered second-degree burns on his arms and back and burns and blisters on his feet. Morton, of Berlin, New Hampshire, is being held on $2,500 bail at Penobscot County Jail. It wasn’t immediately known if he has a lawyer. According to police, Morton admitted he put the toddler inside the dryer but said it was for only one revolution of the drum. A doctor who examined the boy told police he was in there for a prolonged period.
